Values Driving My Work
Over the years, I’ve developed a way of working that values efficiency without losing sight of intention. My career, personal experiences, and daily practices have all influenced how I stay focused, steady, and present in the work I do.
I believe meaningful work starts with clarity and care. When I’m grounded, healthy, and intentional about how I spend my time, I show up more fully for the organizations I partner with. The following are a few of the things that quietly shape how I think, work, and collaborate.
Staying Active
Staying active is a big part of how I maintain my balance and energy. Regular workouts help me clear my head, manage stress, and stay mentally sharp. It’s also often a time when ideas come together and where I reset between busy seasons. This is where my creative flow, flourishes.
Fitness isn’t about perfection, but rather consistency. That mindset carries into my work: steady progress, realistic goals, and building habits that actually last.
Staying Grounded
Country living, time outdoors, and being present with my family help keep me grounded. Whether it’s riding horses, spending time outside, or cheering on my kids at the rink, these moments bring perspective.
That perspective shapes my approach, bringing calm, patience, and an understanding of the many priorities teams are managing. I prioritize thoughtful decision-making and believe meaningful progress comes from clarity, not urgency.
Health & Wellness
Health and wellness matter to me because they create the foundation for everything else. When I’m taking care of myself, I can show up fully, for my clients, my colleagues, and my family.
This focus reinforces my belief in sustainable work. I don’t believe in burnout-driven productivity. I believe in doing quality work, at a steady pace, in a way that supports long-term success.
Can’t-Do-Without Programs & Tools
Strong systems and processes have always been central to how I work. The right tools make work smoother and more manageable. I rely on a handful of trusted programs and software to stay organized, communicate clearly, and keep projects moving without unnecessary complexity.
Ask me about automations and systems. It’s my favorite part of marketing, and yes, I could talk about it for hours :).
Professional Development
Ongoing learning is important to me. I listen to podcasts daily, attend conferences, online sessions, and workshops regularly, and stay curious about how marketing, leadership, and technology continue to evolve. I also follow the work of leaders and authors like Patrick Lencioni, Brendon Burchard, Jenna Kutcher, Simon Sinek, and Brené Brown, whose perspectives continue to shape how I think about leadership, communication, and meaningful work.
Ongoing development like this allows me to bring fresh perspective, informed ideas, and steady leadership to the organizations I work with.
